Molly and Ziggy Update

Can you spot the spot on Molly? This charming black lab/boxer mix has one tiny white spot on her throat. Otherwise she’s all shiny black with some brown highlights on her legs. And she has the cutest two tiny cow licks on the top of her head – the hair stands up no matter what! Molly’s six years old and she’s spent four of those at the shelter – holy smokes is she ready for her forever home and family! She can be shy to first meet people but quickly warms up to take treats and lean in for affection. We’re working with Molly to tune up her leash walking and basic commands this week.

Ziggy is a true hoot. Check out the video where he almost stands on his head to get in close enough to Charley for some serious petting. Ziggy already knows sit and shake and is doing good on his leash walking, too. He’s three years old and a gorgeous mix of German shepherd, yellow lab and maybe Akita or smooth coated collie.

Both Molly and Ziggy are available for adoption at Calhoun County Humane Society
