School Days for League Dogs
It’s a very happy Monday here at Encore, because we have some fantastic repeat customers from the League for Animal Welfare! It’s an all-girl crew today and you’ll recognize some sweet favorites. With their positive attitudes, it can only be a matter of time before each finds her forever home.
Patch is a gentle 45 lb. Red Heeler mix who loves to run up and immediately sit in front of you. She’s about eight years old and loves treats, and loves people even more. She can be skittish when first meeting new people, but she quickly works through it. With her nice medium size, she’s easy to pet if she’s on the floor or in your lap (which she likes).
You know how some people just make you laugh? Well, Suzie Q’s a dog that just makes us laugh. She is ever the optimist, always smiling, always happy to see you. This 10+ year old Lab/Plott Hound mix is 40 or so lbs and still shows some pep in her step. A treat, a pet, a soft bed, and Suzie is one happy dog.
Bae loves to work hard, play hard, and nap hard! This four or five year old Border Collie mix needs time and space and a family with lots of patience to help her settle into a new home. She is incredibly loyal and comfortable with people she knows, but not with strangers. Bae has made excellent progress while at Encore, and we believe the right person is out there to bring Bae home.
Strikingly beautiful, that’s Snax. She’s a year old Heeler/terrier mix (maybe Jack Russell?) who weighs about 35 lbs. Snax is happy go lucky and likes to meet people, especially if they come bearing gifts of cheese or hot dogs. She’s smart and eager to learn, and we so enjoy watching her develop new skills!
