Meet the Dogs November 18 and 25, 2019

It’s the week before Thanksgiving and we are so thankful to be working with a super cute crew from Calhoun County Humane Society! This is a young group and four of the five were recently brought in as strays (Carrie is an owner surrender). Help us welcome them to Encore.

To learn more please visit our Meet the Dogs Page.

Here’s Butler, a two year old male American Staffordshire Terrier mix and a deep mocha latte color (with a few white whipped cream on top spots). He is funny, friendly and loves his toys! Butler’s brave and the first dog of the group to go down the slide today (looks like he had second thoughts half way down). He’s medium sized at about 40 lbs.

Patsy is a year old Hamiltonstovare/Finnish Foxhound mix – these breeds are hunting hounds with excellent noses and are very agile. She is somewhat shy meeting new people but also has a mischievous side. Put down your cell phone and she might just pick it up so you have to chase her!

Bugsy is a gray and white Weimaraner mixed with maybe German Pinscher? He’s three years old and a sturdy 45 lbs. This sweet boy is already neutered and ready to go to his forever home! He loves to meet people and play, then hang out for some well deserved affection.

Meet Mikey, a year old male American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a beautiful blue, brindle and white coat. Mikey wants to say hi to everyone – we just need to help him remember not to jump when he does! He’s a medium/large size at about 50 lbs.

Meet Carrie. This tender girl is only a year old and while she looks like a black lab, she’s on the small size at 35 lbs. She is a little shy when she first meets you, but she is curious and wants to get to know people – you can see it by her tail starting to wag if you greet her gently.
