Hi everyone, I’m Marley. This is my second week at Encore and I gotta say I love it here. (If you don’t believe me, check out my video!) I’m learning so much. My first week I was kinda shy and would only sit, but this week I’m coming out of my shell. I’ve learned to walk on my leash, wait at the doors, and shake. I am also learning to go to my place and stay on my spot. That’s a hard one!
I’ve been on my best behavior and everyone says I’m the sweetest boy. I’m still working on making friends with the other dogs. I get scared and snappy with them sometimes, so the Encore folks are helping me learn how to get along better. Although I have worked so hard and improved so much, I have not found my furever home yet. If you or some one you know might be the right fit, please contact the Calhoun County Humane Society.

Hi folks! I’m Nina. Needless to say, I’m beautiful! I’m a perfect weight at 40ish lbs., and I have chocolate brown eyes and a slick brindle coat. I want everyone to know that I already feel a little better since my ears are being treated for those nasty infections. I went down the play ground slide today and OMG what fun that is!!! I have mastered the sit command and am walking pretty good an a leash. And I love love love people!
I have had a few meet and greets with other dogs on leash. I think I want to make friends, however I’m worried that they will make my ears hurt again, so the staff at Encore is helping me with that. I have been at the shelter for awhile now. I hope that with the skills I’m learning at Encore, someone will give me a chance. I have a follow up appt. with the vet to check my ears next week. As soon as I get my ear issues straightened out I’ll be ready for adoption or rescue. Please share my story with others and maybe even share your life with me?
