Five new faces from the League for Animal Welfare! Say welcome to our new Week 1 guys and girls. They are all young dogs and they seem happy to be inside on a rainy day.
Here’s the female of the Sonny and Cher duo. These siblings are about seven months old and a mix of yellow lab and German Shepherd – gorgeous! They are already 25 lbs. and ready to grow some more.
Looking for a big dog? Meet Major. He’s a year and a half old, about 55 lbs and a tan and black mix that may include Mastiff, Boxer or American Staffordshire Terrier. He’s a young boy that LOVES toys and playing. Major was adopted but returned because he’s smart enough to figure out how to jump a four foot fence.
Another cute little boy – Ajax is just a year old and under 20 lbs. He’s mostly brindle with white markings. Maybe he’s part terrier, maybe part Chihuahua – but whatever, he’s all speed! It was hard to get a picture where he wasn’t moving. This sweet boy likes people and puppuccinos.
Say hi to Sonny, the male of the Sonny and Cher combo. He and Cher are both on the calm and quiet side for such young pups. Kind of nice!
This two year old female terrier mix (with maybe a dash of Basenji and Chihuahua?) is as sweet as her name. She’s shy at first with new people but warms up quickly.
