Cold Weather and No Fear

Some dogs are made for cold weather, but NOT these thin coated boxer boys from Rockin P Rescue! While they loved the new smells in the play yard, they all voted for inside training as we start their Week 1 program at Encore.

Aces are lucky in cards and dogs! This lucky pup was at the Pell City shelter and Rockin P agreed to take him in and treat his heart worms. Ace is young, under two years old, and full of silliness. He can even balance on his back legs. Ace is OK with other dogs.

Cameron is not one for silliness – this four year old white boxer is all business. He would be great for someone who is a serious dog sport competitor, and wants a close companion to train with. He does enjoy some attention (butt rubs, yes!) but isn’t clingy. Cameron enjoys learning new commands.

We love Hank, and he loves us right back! Despite the cold, his corkscrew tail couldn’t stop wiggling when he saw Whitney in the play yard. This four year old Bulldog is strong, happy and full of character.

Roby’s supposed to be all grown up – he’s 5 or 6 years old – but he didn’t get the memo! He loves to run and play. Roby’s a great looking classic fawn boxer ready to find a home with a great family and maybe another dog – he likes some but not others.

Four year old American Bulldog mix Rocky is solid like a rock! Hard to believe this guy was found as a stray weighing only 28 lbs – now he’s a healthy 65 lbs. Rocky loves to check out every last smell in the play yard and he’s doing great on learning basic commands.
