Their two weeks at Encore are coming to a close – we hate to say goodbye to such super dogs! We are so proud to give a shout out to Cleo for most improved. She had some real breakthroughs – she learned sit! She met several new people. And with Becka nearby for moral support, she even walked on the leash with volunteer Alvin. For a dog that spent her first year with no socialization, these are huge steps worth celebrating.
Cleo’s sister Chastity is moving slower, but still making forward progress on accepting people and getting exposed to new things. Hero and Tucker are the “easy peasy” dogs that love people, toys, treats, and other dogs, too! They are a great energy level on top of being just SO cute.
And hunky hot mess Benson makes us laugh all the time. This high energy guy needs a home and a job. He’s smart and sweet and unique, and we’d love to work with his new owners to fine tune his manners – two free lessons with Encore if you adopt any dog that’s been here. All these guys and gals are at the Calhoun County Humane Society.
